Why we will not publish a rate per square foot
A rate card sells a number, not a home. Two identical 3 BHKs can differ by a factor of three depending on how much joinery there is, what the carcass is made of and which hardware is carrying the drawers, and a single headline rate hides every one of those decisions. The cheapest quote you receive is almost always the one with the least written on it. The clearest example is false ceiling work: the same room can be a plain flat ceiling or a stepped, cove lit design, and both get described as one line on a bad quote.

How to read any quote you receive
Quantity beats rate, every time
Running feet of joinery drives the cost more than any per square foot figure. Two flats of identical size can differ threefold on quantity alone.
The carcass is the hidden number
It is invisible once shutters are on, which is exactly why it gets downgraded quietly. Ask what board is below the counter and whether cut edges are sealed.
Hardware is where quotes hide
Premium hardware means nothing. A named brand with a published cycle rating means something. Insist the quote says which.
A short quote is a warning
If a line reads wardrobe, lump sum, you cannot compare it with anything. Every line should carry its specification, which is how ours are written.

What does interior design cost for a 2 BHK in Hyderabad?
It depends almost entirely on how much joinery you want and at what specification, not on the flat's area. A 2 BHK with a kitchen, two wardrobes and a TV unit is a very different project from one with full storage in every room, a false ceiling throughout and custom upholstery. Why will you not just give me a per square foot rate?
Because it would be a guess dressed as a number. A per square foot rate assumes a quantity of joinery and a specification, and neither is knowable before we see the flat. Firms that quote one usually reveal the assumptions later as extras.
What should I check before comparing two quotes?
Check that both list the carcass board and whether it is moisture resistant, that both name the hardware brand rather than saying premium, and that both state the running feet of joinery. If one is missing any of these, you are not comparing like with like.
Is the quote free, and is it binding?
The site visit, the measurement and the written quote are free with no obligation. Once you sign off the scope the price is fixed. Anything added afterwards is quoted separately before it is built.
